How to Prepare Before We Arrive

Preparation makes the cleanout faster and ensures nothing is removed that the family wants to keep:

1. Walk the space first. Identify any items of sentimental or monetary value before we arrive.
2. Mark or move what stays. Place a colored tag on items to keep, or move them to a designated corner.
3. Coordinate facility access. Notify the facility that Junk Out ABQ is authorized to work in the space.
4. Remove medications and valuables. We do not handle prescriptions, jewelry, or items needing secure handling.
5. We handle the rest. Everything you designate is loaded and hauled. You direct; we execute.

Out-of-state family can complete steps 1–2 during a prior visit and send us a written list of what stays. We’ve done many cleanouts with no family present on-site.
