How to Prepare Before We Arrive
Preparation makes the cleanout faster and ensures nothing is removed that the family wants to keep:
- Walk the space first. Identify any items of sentimental or monetary value before we arrive.
- Mark or move what stays. Place a colored tag on items to keep, or move them to a designated corner.
- Coordinate facility access. Notify the facility that Junk Out ABQ is authorized to work in the space.
- Remove medications and valuables. We do not handle prescriptions, jewelry, or items needing secure handling.
- We handle the rest. Everything you designate is loaded and hauled. You direct; we execute.
Out-of-state family can complete steps 1–2 during a prior visit and send us a written list of what stays. We’ve done many cleanouts with no family present on-site.
