What a day! We were on our way to San Francisco, and as luck would have it, the radiator blew on the bay bridge just as we were getting off the exit! The truck immediately shut down but we were able to get it to the side of the freeway so we could call a tow truck. The tow was $798 and to repair the truck, it was another $4,200!The cost of doing business I suppose! So, when a hauler quotes you a price, it isn’t always just about what junk you have. It’s also about maintaining trucks and personnel to get the junk from your house to the dumps!
